Dayforce Configuration

The Dayforce Configuration screen is primarily for Consultants to specify Dayforce integration configurations, including:

  • Which Payrun Groups to be included in Dayforce Integration

  • Whether to auto sync Earnings Statement, Employee Entitlement Balance data to Dayforce at Payrun Close

  • Whether to auto sync HR Import data to Dayforce overnight

 

Prerequisites

  • The screen will only enable if Preceda Variable *PP_DFI_STATUS is set to A.

 

Rules and Guidelines

  • All records in the browselist are retrieved from DFI004F if available.

  • In the browselist, Payrun Groups that are flagged will be included in Dayforce Integration.

  • By default, the Payrun Group Codes are sorted in ascending order.

  • A filter button and paging are available for the browselist.

 

Field Information

This read-only field displays the Payrun Group Code and its description.

This is a checkbox and when flagged, the Payrun Group is considered as an Integration Candidate and employees in the Payrun Group will be extractable via Dayforce Data Loads extractors, and XML files will be generated accordingly.

This read-only field displays the name of the user who last flagged the Payrun Group to be an Integration Candidate. Note that this will only be populated when Integration Candidate checkbox is changed from N (unchecked) to Y (checked).

It will display the First Name and Last Name of the user. If user has no ID Number attached to it, it will only display the Username instead.

This read-only field displays the system date when the Payrun was last flagged to be an Integration Candidate. Note that this will only be populated when Integration Candidate checkbox is changed from N (unchecked) to Y (checked).

 

How do you like the below data to be synced with Dayforce?

Choose whether you'd like Pay Slip data to be synced to Dayforce automatically at Payrun Close.

Once Dayforce receives the data, employees and managers can consume the Earnings Statement for this payrun in Dayforce.

Choose Auto sync at Payrun Close if yes; Choose Review before sync if no, then go to Dayforce File Submission screen for manual handling.

Either way, the files will be available to review via Dayforce File Submission screen.

Choose whether you'd like employee's latest leave balance to be synced to Dayforce automatically at Payrun Close

Once Dayforce receives the data, employees and managers can consume the leave balance in Dayforce.

Choose Auto sync at Payrun Close if yes; Choose Review before sync if no, then go Dayforce File Submission screen for manual handling.

Either way, the XML files will be available to review via Dayforce File Submission screen.

This includes the list of employees who've had a Payrun Group change in the past day, to be reviewed in the employee's Employment Statuses screen in Dayforce.
